| Alexandre Daigle was the first overall choice in the 1993 NHLEntryDraft by the OttawaSenators. He was considered one of the top NHL prospects ever, and he had the ego to match, uttering the words that would haunt him in later years: "...No one remembers number two." Unless of course, number 2 turns out to be all-star defenseman ChrisPronger. And number 5 just happens to be PaulKariya. Unfortunately for the Senators, Daigle's game was not the match of his ego, and he became an NHL journeyman. Daigle's monstrous contract with the Senators was also responsible for the introduction of the rookie salary cap. Rookie Card
