The American Hockey League is the top minor pro league in North America. It is the home for the top level farm clubs for most franchises in the NationalHockeyLeague. There are 27 teams set to play for the 2006-2007 season.

AHL Cards
Some AHL teams issue team sets each season, these can usually be obtained quite easily close to the release date, but finding past issues can be tricky. There are also All-Star sets issued for the AHL, which feature players in their All-Star uniforms. Many AHL players are also featured in the Heroes and Prospects sets issued by InTheGame.
The AHL's biggest release was a World Wide card set called Pacific Prospects AHL Edition. It featured 24 packs per box and 5 cards per pack with 1 Game Used card in evey box and 1 Autograph in every other box along with other inserts. Here is a picture of the Product
