Card Storage
.
SummaryEverything you need to know about storing your card collection!

Once you have a card collection, you need to have a way of storing it. There are several options available, depending on how you want to display your collection, and how much protection you desire.

For the easiest access to look at your cards, 9 pocket PlasticSheets displayed in a 3-ring binder are the best choice. This works well for sets as well as player collections. These pages easily allow you to see your collection, and also the cards you are missing. The one drawback to this type of display, is that the binders can take up a lot of space

A more space efficient way for storing large amounts of cards is to use CardboardBoxes. Not just any box laying around the house, but boxes designed specifically for storing cards. There are boxes designed to hold from 200 to 900 cards in a single row, laying on their horizontal edge. Moving up in size, you can find shoebox style boxes with multiple rows. These boxes hold cards on their vertical edge, or in TopLoaders. Shoebox style boxes are also available to fit graded card holders.

More valuable cards need extra protection. TopLoaders are the most common choice. They are available in a variety of thicknesses, to hold everything from a base card to a thick patch card. MagneticOneTouchHolders are also gaining popularity for this purpose. They come in a variety of thicknesses as well, although not quite as extensive a selection as is available for TopLoaders.
