Luc Bourdon is currently a defenseman for the VancouverCanucks. He was drafted by the Canucks in the 1st round (10th overall) of the 2005 NHLEntryDraft. He played his junior hockey in the QuebecMajorJuniorHockeyLeague for the Val-d'Or Foreurs and MonctonWildcats. Bourdon suited up for Team Canada at the 2006 WorldJuniorHockeyChampionships in Vancouver and played a key role in leading Canada to the gold medal.
Bourdon signed his first NationalHockeyLeague contract with the Canucks on May 4, 2006. He made his NHL debut for the Canucks against the MinnesotaWild on October 10, 2006.
Luc Bourdon's rookie cards will appear in 2006-2007 products, although he already has a number of minor league cards issued.
