Occasionally, a ticket will not fit into the designated holder. If this occurs, it will be placed in a mylar sleeve and put in an oversized holder. The turnaround guarantee assures you that PSA will have grades available in the specified number of business days following the day our receiving department processes your order. The number of days it takes for any delivery agency (U.S. Mail) to return graded cards to the submitter is not included in the number of days allotted to PSA’s turnaround guarantees. If PSA fails to meet the turnaround guarantee on paid submissions, you will receive a grading voucher equal to the number of days your order was delayed (not to exceed the total number of items). For example, if your order has a guaranteed turnaround time of 10 business days but was completed in 13 business days, you will receive 3 grading vouchers for the same service level; this excludes grading specials and complimentary submissions. Submitting Cards/Tickets Submitting cards/tickets to PSA is easy. Go to www.psacard.com to download submission forms. You’ll also find step-by-step instructions on how to submit your cards/tickets and a list of available supplies. Please note that separate invoices must be submitted for different grading services and service types (crossovers, regular size, tallboys, reviews, cards and tickets) and are subject to separate grading fees and shipping & handling fees. Trade Shows - You can drop off any card or collectible, vintage or modern, of any value for submission or on-site grading at the PSA booth at all major trade and hobby shows. Orders submitted under the $25 express service or higher, and any bulk order over 100 cards will be allowed to be picked up by appointment only. A note about the declared value section and service levels: Please keep in mind that the declared value section is crucial in filling out the submission forms properly. For example, if you declare the value on a card, no matter what type of card -- star or common -- and the value is $1,200, you cannot submit that card at any service other than Super Express or higher. The value you declare on each and every card affects the service type and failure to comply with the stated rules can delay your order. PSA appreciates your attention to this matter. Please follow the declared value rules stated on the submission form. Crossover Service. Cards graded by other third-party firms may be submitted in their holders for PSA grading. This service is available under all service levels. PSA will evaluate the card inside the current holder. If PSA deems the card worthy to cross over into the Customer’s specified minimum grade, the card will be removed from its holder and placed into a PSA holder. If you are willing to accept any PSA opinion, even if the result is evidence of trimming, questionable authenticity, etc., then write "Any" in the column. It may result in the card being returned unholdered. If you are willing to accept any PSA grade, then put "1" in the minimum grade column. Regardless of the result, the grading fee is the same. Pedigree Service A service that will allow collectors to personalize their labels. For example, the "John Doe Collection" may appear on the PSA label. This will be offered on a case by case basis, reserved for “special” cards and/or sets that must meet certain high-end or rare criteria. Pedigree requests must be pre-approved prior to submission. Final approval is at PSA’s sole discretion. Please contact Customer Service for details and instructions. Grading and Authenticating Service Please keep in mind that an autographed card/ticket submitted under the autograph authentication combination service must pass both autograph authentication and card/ticket grading authentication in order to be encapsulated. For example, a card/ticket that is deemed altered in any way will not be encapsulated even though the autograph may be genuine. In addition, if the card/ticket is deemed original and unaltered yet the autograph does not pass inspection, then the card/ticket may not be encapsulated. There may be very rare exceptions to the rule on a case by case basis (in cases where the autograph and card/ticket are deemed authentic but the card/ticket has been altered in some fashion). In a rare case where an authentic card/ticket has been altered, PSA may choose to label the card/ticket “Authentic” since the card/ticket cannot have a grade assigned. Keep in mind that this is a rare occurrence and PSA must feel that the encapsulation is warranted and justified. The final determination, as to whether a card/ticket is encapsulated under these conditions, is at PSA’s sole discretion. All card/ticket issues vary in size. Occasionally, a card/ticket will not fit into the designated holder. If this occurs, it will be placed in a mylar sleeve and put in an oversized holder.
