History
| The T206 set is so named because of the catalog designation in the american Card Catalog written by Jefferson Burdick. The "T" in T206 is for any 20th century tobacco issued card set, both sport and non-sport. The "206" is the designation of the white bordered set of cards measuring approx. 1-7/16" by 2-5/8" and issued between 1909 and 1911. The T206 set is one of the most popular issue of tobaccocards released in the U.S. |
