History
| TuukkaRask was drafted in the 1st round of the 2005 NHLEntryDraft by the TorontoMapleLeafs. He made a splash playing for Finland at the 2006 WorldJuniorHockeyChampionships, where he was named the tournament's top goaltender. At the 2006 NHLEntryDraft, Rask was traded from the Leafs to the BostonBruins, in exchange for fellow goalie AndrewRaycroft. Towards the end of the 2006-07 season, Rask signed a contract with the Bruins, and joined their AHL affiliate, the ProvidenceBruins for a brief stint during their playoff run.
