History
| The United States Hockey League (USHL) is the top junior hockey league in the United States. To play in the USHL, all players must be 20 or under before the start of each season. The USHL is an amateur league, and players competing within it remain eligible for NCAA scholarships. Some notable alumni of the USHL include TylerArnason (ChicagoBlackhawks, OttawaSenators), JasonBlake (NewYorkIslanders), ErikCole (CarolinaHurricanes), and DavidHale (NewJerseyDevils). The USHL continues to produce NHL calibre players, as players such as JoePavelski (SanJoseSharks) who played with the WaterlooBlackhawks made his NHL debut this season. |
