Jersey cards were the first type of memorabilia cards inserted into sports card products, and they remain the most common. They feature a swatch of the player's jersey inserted into the card itself. For most players these jerseys are GameWornJerseys, however for some rookies, in order to expedite production of sets when game jerseys are not available, PhotoShootJerseys are used instead.
Jersey cards as inserts are relatively common now, and in order to hold much value they must be either very limited, or very unique. Many of these cards feature SerialNumbering to add an element of scarcity. Cards which feature multiple colours, seams, or noticeable game use can also command higher values.
