Power erasing is a deceptive practice where the original surface of a card is altered. Power erasing is a generic term used to describe the use of an eraser to remove blemishes, stray print dots and alter borders. This practice is meant to defraud buyers. A card with evidence of power erasing will not be graded by the major grading companies.
