The Tampa Bay Lightning franchise was founded in 1992, as part of the NationalHockeyLeague expansion. They play in the Southeast division of the Eastern Conference. The Lightning have a trio of strong, young forwards in VincentLecavalier, BradRichards and MartinStLouis. The current captain of the franchise is forward TimTaylor.
